Excelsior President to Address U.S. Chamber of Commerce ForumAlbany, N.Y. (May 12, 2011) - Dr. John Ebersole, President of Excelsior College, will be among the featured speakers at a forum hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Institute for a Competitive Workforce (ICW) , on May 16, 2011, in Washington DC. The forum – Degrees of Change: Private Sector Innovations Transforming Higher Education – is intended to highlight how private sector innovations are helping to increase productivity in higher education. Additionally, ICW will release a full-scale report highlighting some of the most impactful innovations and contributions from the private sector. His remarks will reference research results reported in the March 2010 CAEL report Fueling the Race to Postsecondary Success: A 48-Institution Study of Prior Learning Assessment and Adult Student Outcomes (PDF).
