How can I get credit for my business experience?

You can validate your college-level knowledge in business or in other areas of collegiate study through a number of approved methods, including proficiency examinations such as Excelsior College® Examinations and College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) subject examinations, and through Portfolio-Based Assessment of your acquired degree-related, college-level learning through your employment, community, volunteer, or other experiences.

BSB – MBA Dual Degree Track

Am I eligible for this program?

The combined BS Business/MBA is an open enrollment program. Although a background or experience in business is helpful, it is not required for admittance into the program. Anyone with a high school diploma or equivalent is eligible to apply.

What are the minimum grade requirements in the BSB – MBA Dual Degree Track ?

Minimum grades of C are required in each of the courses comprising the business component and core areas for the BSB degree. However, minimum grades of B are required for each of the five MBA foundation core courses (Business Ethics, Quantitative Analysis, Organizational Behavior, Marketing and Finance) and Bridge courses. For the MBA degree a GPA of 3.00 is required by graduation.

Is there a time limit on the age of transfer credit in the BSB – MBA Dual Degree Track?

Undergraduate courses in Business, not applicable to MBA foundation requirements must be no older than 20 years from the date of enrollment. Foundation courses and MBA courses must be no older than 10 years.

What is the minimum GPA Requirement for the BSB – MBA Dual Degree Track?

A grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 is required to move forward with the graduate course component. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required to complete the MBA degree.
