Wayne Brown joined the College in September 2008 as vice president of information technology and is now serving as Vice President, Extended Education and Chief Executive Officer for Educators Serving Educators (ESE). He most recently was executive vice president of administration and chief information officer at Johnson County Community College.

During his 20-year military career, Dr. Brown was recognized as the United States Air Force (U.S.A.F.) Air Mobility Command Medical Information Systems Officer of the Year. His research interests include chief information officer effectiveness in higher education and technology governance.
