Health Sciences - Certificate in End of Life Care FAQ
The End of Life Care Certificate equips current and aspiring health care professionals with the skills to provide more effective quality care. The program offers students the opportunity to learn about therapeutic communication, the dying and bereavement process, coping strategies for patients and families, symptom management, and other topics in order to better serve the patient.
Excelsior College accepts applications for admission into the Certificate in End of Life Care Program on a rolling or continuous basis. You may start at any time.
Certificate programs do not qualify for financial aid.
The Certificate in End of Life Care is designed for nurses and other health care professionals such as social workers; chaplains; and respiratory, occupational, and physical therapists that are involved in end of life care in different settings.
