Excelsior College Scholarships

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form (FAFSA) to apply for an Excelsior College Scholarship. Excelsior's school code is 014251.

Once your FAFSA form has been processed, you will be considered for a scholarship. Email our financial aid office at vafa@excelsior.edu if you are not able to complete the FAFSA.

Lieutenant General Joseph S. and Anita L. Laposata Scholarship Fund for Military Enlisted and Their Spouses Scholarships for financially needy students who are enlisted in the United States military and their spouses.
Lois G. and William T. Moran Scholarship Endowment Fund Scholarships for financially needy enrolled students in Excelsior's associate degree in nursing programs.
Michael J. Cooley Scholarship Endowment Fund Scholarships for financially needy students in the Excelsior College School of Health Sciences.
Murray and Estelle Block Scholarship Endowment Fund Scholarships for financially needy students, with preference given to students in Excelsior's School of Business and Technology.
Partners in Lifelong Learning Scholarship Scholarships for enrolled students who demonstrate financial need and live in New York State, with preference given to those in the Capital Region.
Pastor Angelina Robles Lopez Scholarship Fund Scholarships for financially needy enrolled and future students who wish to achieve their educational goals and dreams.
President's Scholarship Scholarships for financially needy students, both enrolled and prospective.
Summo Endowment Fund Scholarships for financially needy enrolled and future students; recipients must be at least 30 years of age and be U.S. citizens; although U.S. military personnel should not be excluded, preference will be given to those who do not have other educational benefits available to them.
The Associate Degree in Nursing Scholarship Scholarships for students enrolled in associate in science nursing and associate in applied science in nursing degree who demonstrate financial need.

Scholarship Description
Chief of Police (Retired) Robert P. Williams Scholarship Fund Scholarships for students with demonstrated financial need in Excelsior College Criminal Justice programs.
David W. Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund Scholarships for students pursuing bachelor's or master's degree programs in business and liberal arts, with preference given to business or similar successor program. Student must be at least halfway through their degree programs, with no outside affiliations resulting in educational support and maintain a minimum Excelsior College GPA of 3.0.  Student must demonstrate financial need.
Dr. Jane LeClair '94, '95 Scholarship Fund for Women in Technology Scholarships for women entering or continuing in any of Excelsior's programs in technology within the School of Business & Technology.
Dr. Lawrence and Betty Wei Nursing Scholarship Fund Scholarships for students enrolled in Excelsior's associate in science nursing and associate in applied science in nursing degree who are either CPNE®-eligible or are within 10 credits of the CPNE and who demonstrate financial need. These funds may be used for CPNE workshops, examinations, materials, or textbooks.
Entrepreneur: Business & Technology Fund Scholarships for students enrolled in Excelsior's Business and Technology program who are or who plan to become entrepreneurs.
Gregg and Lisa Smith Technology Scholarship Fund Scholarships for Technology students taking humanities courses in fulfillment of Excelsior degree requirements.

Vivian Runyon Memorial Scholarship Fund Scholarships for students enrolled in the Excelsior College School of Liberal Arts. The donors wish to honor both veterans and enlisted active duty personnel of the U.S. Armed Services.
Dana E. and Barry J. Yanulavich Scholarship Endowment Fund Scholarships for financially needy students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies Program.
Dr. Richard L. Leveroni Endowed Scholarship Fund Scholarships for students pursuing degrees in the School of Liberal Arts with preference given to students in the master's program, as well as to veteran or inactive military members.
