As a military spouse, Desiree knows how difficult it is to maintain residency while serving. Desiree took advantage of Excelsior’s military spouse program to complete her bachelor’s degree in business. “I’ve always dreamed of earning my degree, and was inspired to get my degree before my children started college. Credit Transfer

Desiree transferred in most of her required credits and filled in with online courses. “My business degree built upon my work experience, and paid off with a promotion and pay raise. I’d already been doing the work, but the degree secured a new title and a pay raise.”

Desiree’s advice to those who are thinking about finishing their degree is, “Don’t quit! Push forward -don’t give up.”
