Federal Grants

Pell Grant

The Federal Pell Grant is the basic federal grant program for undergraduate students. Eligibility is basd upon need, and the funds do not have to be repaid.

The amount of the grant is based on the college's costs, the student's expected family contribution (EFC), and whether you attend school full-time or part-time. Award levels vary up to a maximum of $5,550 annually.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

Undergraduates who have exceptional financial need may be eligible for the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) program. This program assists Pell Grant recipients with the lowest EFCs. Like Pell grants, the FSEOG does not have to be repaid. Awards range from $100 to $4,000 per year.
