Undergraduate Tuition and Fees 

Excelsior College offers affordable undergraduate degrees that are designed to fit within a working adult's budget.

We offer two enrollment options:

• The Excelsior Course Option—cost-optimized for students who need at least 12 credits to graduate.
• The Multi-Source Option—designed for students who need to take fewer than 12 Excelsior credits.

The costs specified below do not apply to military students, family members, or veterans, or to nursing students seeking an associate degree. If you fall into one of these categories, please see the corresponding page in the left navigation to find your tuition and fees.

Excelsior College maintains partnerships with employers, colleges, military organizations, and other types of institutions. Students who are affiliated with partner organizations may be eligible for discounts on tuition, student fees, and other costs.

Payment Plans

Excelsior College offers payment plans to help working adults fit education costs comfortably within a household budget. You can pay tuition and/or fees in monthly installments, rather than in a lump sum. Payment plans are available.

• Enrollment:  Budget your undergraduate enrollment fee with up to 6 monthly payments. Set-up Fee: $25 per plan.

• Tuition: Budget your undergraduate tuition costs over 4 months. Set-up Fee: $25 per plan. Apply for a payment plan when you register for courses online, or download a payment plan application.

• Student fees: Budget your Student Service Annual Fee (SSAF) across up to 6 payments. Set-up Fee: $25 per plan. Apply for the payment plan when paying the SSAF through the Student Billing section of MyExcelsior, or download the SSAF payment plan application. • Excelsior College® Examinations (ECEs): Budget your exam registration fee over 2 months. Set-up Fee: $15 per plan. Payment plan application only available as you register for exams online.

  Continuation Discount Enrollment Fee: If you enroll in an Excelsior bachelor's degree program using the Excelsior Multi-Source Option within one year of completing your Excelsior associate degree, you may qualify for a substantial enrollment fee reduction. If eligible, you may budget this with up to 6 monthly payments. Set-up Fee: $25 per plan.
