Veterans Tuition and Fees

Excelsior College offers a reduced fee structure for veterans to help make education more affordable. We also have veteran-friendly policies and advising services that make it easy to apply GI Bill benefits and other educational benefits toward your Excelsior degree.

The table below lists costs for both of Excelsior College's enrollment options:

• The Excelsior Course Option—designed for students who need at least 12 credits to graduate.
• The Multi-Source Option—designed for students who need to take fewer than 12 Excelsior credits.

In addition to offering reduced fees for military veterans, Excelsior College provides a range of financial aid programs and services to ensure that veterans have access to an affordable education.

Excelsior serves thousands of military veterans every year. Our policies and programs are optimized for convenient use of GI Bill benefits and other educational programs for veterans.

Financial Aid for Veterans

Standard Financial Aid

Veterans who attend Excelsior College are eligible for the same loans, scholarships, or other sources of financial aid that are available to civilian students.

Partnerships

Excelsior College maintains educational partnerships with numerous national veteran organizations and statewide VFW chapters. Individuals who are affiliated with these organizations may be eligible for discounts on tuition, student fees, and other costs.

Payment Plans

Excelsior College offers payment plans to help military veterans fit education costs comfortably within a household budget. You can pay tuition and/or fees in monthly installments, rather than in a lump sum.

• Enrollment:  Budget your undergraduate enrollment fee with up to 6 monthly payments. Set-up Fee: $25 per plan.

• Tuition: Budget your undergraduate tuition costs over 4 months. Set-up Fee: $25 per plan. Apply for a payment plan when you register for courses online, or download a payment plan application.

• Student fees: Budget your Student Service Annual Fee (SSAF) across up to 6 payments. Set-up Fee: $25 per plan.
