What is the OvidSP database and how can I gain access to it?
The OvidSP research database offers full-text articles from select titles in the OvidSP collection. You can search additional Ovid titles for over 2,000 journals (indexed with abstracts) in fields including clinical medicine, behavioral and social sciences, life sciences, nursing, physical science and engineering, and psychology.
This public resource is made possible through funding from Coordinated Collection Development Aid, a New York State program that recognizes the contributions that academic libraries make in enriching the learning of all New Yorkers.
The OvidSP research database is available to the public on the Excelsior College campus at 7 Columbia Circle, Albany, N.Y., on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm EST, and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST.
