As part of the learning experience the student will have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the current health care informatics climate, develop and evaluate a database in response to a specific health care need, apply project management skills in developing a group project, participate as a team member developing and evaluating information systems, and evaluate current issues and challenges in the field.
