Students in this program prepare to meet the growing business demands of today's health care industry by developing skills needed by health care managers and administrators.

When can I start?

You can start any time. The BS in Health Sciences programs accept applications for admission on a rolling or continuous basis. Once you’ve been admitted, the next step is to enroll. Online enrollment requires a free MyExcelsior Web site user account. Course terms start every two months, so you can begin almost any time.

I am a licensed registered nurse. Can I get college credit for my license in this program?

Yes, college credit is awarded for the following licenses:

  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist
  • Licensed Radiation Therapist
  • Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse
  • Licensed Massage Therapist
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician

Health Care Management Bachelor's Program

Am I eligible for this program?

The BS in Health Care Management is an open enrollment program. Although a background or experience in a health care field is helpful, neither is required for admittance into the program. Anyone with a high school diploma or equivalent is eligible to apply.

How much will it cost?

The total cost of the BS in Health Care Management program varies for each student depending on how much transfer credit is applied and how the student completes the remaining credit needed. Information about the most current fee schedule is available at Fees and Tuition. You may also contact our Admissions Office to request the fee schedule by calling toll free 888-647-2388, ext. 27. You should budget for textbooks, Internet service provider expenses, and miscellaneous charges as well. The BS in Health Care Management does not require any travel or clinical fees.

Health Care Management Bachelor's / MBA Dual Degree Program

The combined BS in Health Care Management/MBA is an open enrollment program. Although a background or experience in a health care field is helpful, neither is required for admittance into the program. Anyone with a high school diploma or equivalent is eligible to apply.

By combining the BS and MBA into one program you save both time and money.

The total cost of the combined BS in Health Care Management/MBA program varies for each student depending on how much transfer credit is applied and how the student completes the remaining credit needed. Information about the most current fee schedule is available at Fees and Tuition. Undergraduate fees apply until you enter the MBA phase of the program for which graduate fees apply.
