Formerly vice president of Chase Community Development Corporation, Jean Smith has worked in the banking and financial industry since 1978, holding various positions including management of the flagship branch of Chase Manhattan Bank and management of 22 branches in the Chase retail branch network. She is a member of several professional associations including Women in Housing and Finance, Urban Bankers, and the Coalition of 100 Black Women.

Ms. Smith’s community service includes involvement with the South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation (SOBRO), the Madison Avenue Boys and Girls Club, and the Rose F. Kennedy Family Center.
