Marck Beggs has been an online instructor in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree program at Excelsior College since 2000. He was appointed the first chair of the President’s Faculty Advisory Council and serves ex officio on the Excelsior College Board of Trustees.

As a professor of English at Henderson State University, Dr. Beggs teaches writing and literature. He is founder and poetry editor of the Arkansas Literary Forum. In addition, he is the author of Libido Café, Godworm, and Catastrophic Chords. He has received numerous awards for his teaching and poetry, including the Ellis College Faculty Excellence Award and the Little Rock Free Press Open Competition in Poetry award four times.
