Excelsior College Nursing Management Graduate Certificate Program Outcomes

By completion of the program, the graduate will be able to

  1. Establish collaborative partnerships with interdisciplinary teams to pursue health-related goals and influence change.
  2. Apply principles and theories of performance improvement, systems thinking, health policy, and resource allocation to manage the health-care enterprise or outcomes.
  3. Use knowledge and analytical skills to appraise the contextual environment of health care in order to inform and influence decision making across the health care system.
  4. Apply knowledge and skills from multiple disciplines in the use of clinical management information systems to improve client (defined as individuals, families, aggregates, communities, and systems) care.
