This MBA foundation examination measures the student's knowledge of material covered in the MBA program's foundational course in Quantitative Analysis (BUS 503). The exam is designed to assess the major quantitative techniques required for successful performance in the graduate level quantitative courses (e.g., Statistics, Finance, Economics, etc.) The exam will include mathematical models with business applications to analyze management and organizational problems. Specific topics include: break-even models, decision theory, game theory, regression, forecasting, inventory control, linear programming, project management techniques, and queuing theory models. By passing this foundation exam, the corresponding Quantitative Analysis course (BUS 503) requirement is waived for the enrolled MBA student. However, credits WILL NOT be awarded.)
