| | Registering for ExamsFollow the Excelsior College® Examinations (ECEs) or UExcel® registration process that pertains to you. ECEs RegistrationBefore you go further, sign up for a MyExcelsior account if you don't already have one. Download Exam Content Guides, the User's Guide, and the Technical Handbook for ECEs from our Exam Content Guides and Documentation page. You can register and pay for your exam online. After you register, you will receive an Authorization To Test (ATT) letter. You will have six months from the date of that letter to schedule and take your exam at the Pearson VUE Test Center of your choice. Note for military exam candidates: DANTES funding for ECEs is no longer available as of September 30, 2011. Please contact your local education office to determine whether Tuition Assistance or other military education benefits can be used to pay for ECEs or UExcel examinations. Practice Exams for ECEsPractice exams offer valuable feedback on your study progress and familiarize you with the testing process, increasing your chances for a better grade. We offer online practice exams for many of the credit-bearing exams. You may register for a practice exam after registering for its corresponding credit-bearing exam. Overseas TestingExcelsior College Examinations are administered internationally at select Pearson VUE Test Centers. You need not be an enrolled student in an Excelsior College degree program (unless you are pursuing an associate degree in nursing) to take an examination at a Pearson VUE Test Center. CPNE® Exam TakersThe Clinical Performance in Nursing Examination (CPNE) is required of all enrolled associate degree nursing program students. Once you become CPNE-eligible through the program, a CPNE study guide will be sent to you and you may fill out an application to take the CPNE. FCCA® Exam TakersThe Focused Clinical Competencies Assessment (FCCA) is required of all enrolled associate degree nursing program students.
