Message from the Alumni Association President
Sara Waldorf, BA '03, Warren, MN
As the president of YOUR alumni association, I want to encourage you to get involved! Visit the alumni Web page and the Alumni Association Facebook page frequently to keep up on all of the events and Web chats that are offered. Most of our grads have unique stories: you worked hard and Excelsior worked for you. Feel free to contact any of the alumni advisory board members to share your story. Ever upward!
Binghamton or Bust
If you live near Binghamton, NY, mark your calendar—Thursday, April 26, 2012 from noon until 2 p.m. at the Lost Dog Café. Join us for a free luncheon to meet Alumni Ambassador Adrienne Mason, BS '11, and learn about the ways in which you can become active in the Alumni Association. Keynote speaker is Dr. Jane LeClair, dean of the School of Business and Technology. This is a great opportunity to get to know fellow Excelsior graduates and share stories about how Excelsior impacted your life. Space is limited. Register by April 12.
Women: Live Long and Prosper
No one likes to think about getting old, but for women, who are continuing the trend of outliving the men in their lives, having a financial plan for the golden years is almost a necessity. Dr. Annie Hough-Everage, BSL '93, EdD will discuss the financial consequences of living longer during a Web chat on Wed., April 25 from 8-9 p.m. ET. Register today.

The Language of Men
Hudson Whitman/Excelsior College Press's next book, The Language of Men, by talented new writer Anthony D'Aries, is about a trip to contemporary Vietnam and a son's search for the man his father was during a long-lost war. Alumni can request one of five advance readers' copies. In June, books and ebooks will be for sale on the Hudson Whitman Web site, Amazon.com, and by special order at your favorite local bookstore.
A Little Planning Goes a Long Way
Would you like to ensure high-quality educational opportunities like the ones that were offered to you for future generations of Excelsior College students? Did you know that you can help to build the College's financial resources, particularly its endowment, with just a little planning?
