Look for an invitation in your email in-box soon! Poetry Can Be So Inviting Alumni in New York’s Capital Region are invited to two Excelsior-sponsored poetry events this month. In recognition of the launch of Excelsior College's Online Writing Lab, award winning poet James R. Whitley will read from his work at Excelsior's campus in Albany on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 12:45 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. A short reception will follow. Reservations are required. Excelsior’s Favorite Poem Night is scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, 2012. This free event will be held at the Arts Center of the Capital Region, and readings will begin around 6 p.m. Reservations are required. Upcoming Middle States Self-Study Review Visit For the past two years, Excelsior College has been working on a self-study for reaccreditation through the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. On March 28, 2012 at 11:30 AM the Middle States team chair will read the visiting team's report, and the Excelsior community is invited.
