Excelsior College was the catalyst for LCDR McMillan. Since graduating, he has been accepted into the Unrestricted Line Officer designation, which allows the opportunity to climb to the pinnacle of Navy ranks. Additionally, he has been awarded numerous awards including the Navy Marine Corps Commendation Medals (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (five awards) and the Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation Award.
