Senior director of research and development for Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Will Senn earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, summa cum laude, from Excelsior College in 2007.
In addition to his work at UL's workplace health & safety business unit where he is responsible for architecture and development of software platforms and products, Senn is also a teaching fellow in the College of Information, Department of Library Science at the University of North Texas. Prior to joining UL, he was director of decision support at the University of North Texas.
Senn is an active member of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, where he has served as chair of the Knowledge Management Special Interest Group, the chapter assembly director, and as a board member. He is also a member of the Decision Science Institute, and Phi Kappa Phi, where he formerly served as the president of the University of North Texas Chapter. He has been honored as an IBM Cognos Information Champion three times and was the recipient of the American Society for Information Science and Technology New Leaders Award.
In addition to his Excelsior degree, Senn earned a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas in 2009 and is currently working toward a PhD in the field of information science.
