Standards of Progress Policy

Student activity, progress, and tracking is monitored in the course management system.  Attendance and time spent in the course will be tracked to ensure student activity.

Grading and Passing -  Each program includes a set of lessons and evaluations; grades are a combination of the instructor's evaluation of students' work and graded tests.  Each lesson of a course or program must be passed at a rate of 70% or above in order to proceed to the next lesson.  An overall rate of 70% or higher must be obtained in the course or program as a final grade to receive a passing grade.

Certificate -  After receiving a passing grade and successful completion of a professional development program a student will receive a certificate from Excelsior College.
