Albany, New York (October 26, 2012) – In recognition of America Recycles Day on November 15, Excelsior College, in partnership with Colt Recycling, will host an Electronics Recycling Event on-campus for residents of the New York Capital Region.

Where: Excelsior College, 7 Columbia Circle, Albany, New York, 12203
When: November 15, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Computers
Handheld Devices
Scanners
Back-up Power Supplies
Laptops
Monitors
Stereo Systems
Games
Cell Phones
Printers
Telephone Systems
Radios/MP3 Players

Colt Recycling provides complimentary secure data destruction on hard drives and storage media. It is the customer’s responsibility to transfer equipment with data to a Secure Team Member.

Residents dropping off recycled material are asked to look for the Secure Team sign. They must not leave equipment with volunteers or non-secure staff.

Colt Recycling will NOT accept televisions, batteries, bulbs, smoke/carbon detectors, dehumidifiers, paints, thinners or items containing hazardous materials. For more information, contact Bethany de Barros at BdeBarros@excelsior.edu.
