Security expert and author Stephen Cobb headlines free webinar

ALBANY, N.Y. (September 27, 2011) – On Wednesday, October 19, cybersecurity expert Stephen Cobb will present "Cybersecurity in the Workplace" as part of Excelsior College's School of Business & Technology's Business Success webinar series. The webinar will provide an intriguing look at the field of cybersecurity, its ever-increasing importance in the digital age, and how to prevent and combat common cyber threats in the workplace.

The author of several books and hundreds of articles about information security and data privacy, Stephen Cobb is a Certified Information System Security Professional with more than 20 years of experience educating companies and consumers about malware and other cyber threats. In addition to creating and delivering security and privacy training to thousands of employees at companies such as Microsoft and AT&T, he has developed and taught master's level courses in Information Assurance and Business Continuity. He joined ESET, a San Diego-based security solutions firm, in 2011 as security evangelist.

The event will conclude with an overview of Excelsior College's five new cybersecurity programs, launched this September.
