Partner Scholarship Programs

Scholarship Fund Available to Partner Organizations

Excelsior has a special pool of scholarship funds available to Excelsior partner organizations' eligible employees and members enrolled* in an Excelsior College program.

Qualified members and employees of partner organizations must apply, complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and enroll in an Excelsior College degree program. Scholarship awards may be up to $1,600 and do not include costs already covered by tuition reimbursement.

Applying for a Partner Scholarship

To be considered for a scholarship, you must follow one of the steps below:

  1. If you have already applied for admission and received your preliminary review,
    • The next step is to complete FAFSA and enroll in a Excelsior College degree program to start taking courses during the next available term. Our FAFSA Code is 014251.
  2. If you have not applied for admission,
    • You must apply for admission by completing the specially coded undergraduate application that is online or downloaded from your organization's Excelsior partner page. (Please specify that you are a member or employee of a partner organization in the special dropdown list on the online application form.)
    • The next step is to complete FAFSA. Our FAFSA Code is 014251.
    • Enroll*  in an Excelsior College degree program to start taking courses during the next available term.

Scholarship Fund Available to Phi Theta Kappa Member Transferring from a Partner College

The 2014-2015 scholarship funds have been exhausted but we are now accepting applications for the 2015-2016 academic year scholarships.

To be eligible, applicants must have no outside affiliations resulting in education support (e.g., Veterans Affairs benefits, assistance from professional organizations, etc.) Two scholarships will be awarded. One is a regional scholarship (recipient must reside within New York State), and the other is awarded to a national recipient. Each recipient will be awarded $1,000. The award may be applied to Excelsior College tuition and fees only. This scholarship is in addition to our preferential partnership pricing.

Applying for a Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

To be considered for a scholarship, you must complete the scholarship application and follow one of the steps below:
