Shih has been a champion of online education for the past 20 years, gaining extensive experience in online learning technology, curriculum development, outcomes assessment, and instructional design.
Shih’s expertise lies in instructional design and technology, curriculum development, outcomes assessment, program evaluation, and online education. Her work can be found in several publications, such as “Pathways of Learning that Opens Career Pathways in Cybersecurity,” proceedings from Anita Borg Institute Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing conference in 2016, and “The Integrated Technology Assessment: A Portfolio-Based Capstone Experience,” in the Information Systems Educational Journal.
