Operating System Under Attack

See webinar in full screenOn February 9, 2015, the National Cybersecurity Institute (NCI) hosted a webinar entitled Operating System Under Attack.

During the webinar, attendees learned how an operating system works and what makes it vulnerable to attack. They were also introduced to some ways for protecting an operating system.

The webinar was presented by James Antonakos who is a State University of New York Distinguished Teaching Professor of Computer Science at Broome Community College, in Binghamton, NY, where he has taught since 1984. Antonakos is the designer and director of the new 2-year AAS Degree in Computer Security and Forensics at Broome Community College. James is the author or co-author of over 40 books on computers, networking, electronics, and technology. He is also a fellow at the National Cybersecurity Institute.
