Since 1971, Excelsior has been helping nurses gain professional satisfaction through a range of career-development programs. The School of Nursing is a national leader in distance education that serves tens of thousands of nurses with programs that fit in a working nurse’s schedule, and has been designated a National League for Nursing (NLN) Center of Excellence in Nursing Excellence three consecutive times (2005-2008, 2008-2011, and 2011-2016). Nurses also come to Excelsior to earn bachelor's degrees in health care management, health sciences, and other fields.
