Bioethics: Philosophical Issues

The UExcel Bioethics: Philosophical Issues examination is based on material typically taught in a one-semester, three-credit, upper-level course in bioethics. The examination measures knowledge and understanding of ethical theories related to bioethics, topics in clinical biomedical ethics, social topics in ethics, and environmental ethics. The examination also tests for a knowledge of facts and terminology, an understanding of concepts and theories, and the ability to apply this knowledge and understanding in an analysis of the philosophical issues concerning biomedical and environmental ethics. The examination assumes a familiarity with and basic knowledge of introductory ethics and philosophy. (Multiple-choice examination)

A practice exam is available for $35: To register for a practice exam, visit www.excelsior.edu and log into your MyExcelsior account. You must be registered for the corresponding credit-bearing exam first before you can register for the practice exam.
Register for the Exam
You can register and pay for your exam online. After you register, you will receive an Authorization to Test letter. You'll need to select the 8- or 15-week term in which you'll take your exam.
