The examination measures knowledge and understanding of material typically taught in an introductory undergraduate course in business information systems. Students should enter this course with a basic proficiency in both computer use and in the office application they will use to prepare for this examination. The examination tests for comprehension and understanding of business information systems in pursuit of organizational goals and strategies, and specifically tests for an understanding of the general principles and concepts of information systems. The exam also covers topics such as the systems development life cycle and the personal and societal impact of information systems.

A practice exam is available for $35: To register for a practice exam you must first register for its corresponding credit-bearing exam.
Register for the Exam
You can register and pay for your exam online. After you register, you will receive an Authorization to Test letter. You'll need to select the 8- or 15-week term in which you'll take your exam.
