In this role, you will build, scale, and maintain a rapidly growing Salesforce instance while partnering with Leadership, Functional Business Stakeholders, and IT integration teams across the organization. At Excelsior, Salesforce is at the heart of what we do, and as such, this team creates and implements critical processes and frameworks that ultimately guide and support the overall business strategies for our constituents. The role will report directly to the Director of SaaS Systems Support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the end-to-end Salesforce ecosystem at Excelsior while developing a strong understanding of any related integrations syncing data.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to the certified system admin.
  • Collaborate closely with all of the organization’s functional leadership, subject matter experts, and end-users, operating as a platform owner and executor.
  • Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, features and best practices in order to make recommendations to management regarding implementations.
  • Evaluate, select, implement, and integrate technology tools into a solution to support key business unit stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally to address technical debt.
  • Provide on-going support and system administration to quickly fix issues.
  • Design, build, and test scalable enhancements such as custom objects, alerts, page layouts, etc.
  • Develop ETL data workflows and code for new data integrations and maintain/enhance/existing workflows and code using Pentaho/Boomi Data Integration.
  • Create/Maintain/enhance SQL statements, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Understand security implications of different data elements (e.g. PII, PCI, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Four (4) years experience as a Certified Salesforce Administrator.
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Communities, and EDA model.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform including configuration of custom objects, workflow rules, process builder, validation rules, etc.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce AP’s on how to integrate with 3rd party tools.
  • Completed end-to-end implementations.
  • Experience integrating and configuring Salesforce connected apps such as Remedyforce, FormAssembly, Conga, SUMO Scheduler, SMS Text, Marketo, Hyland Connector, Elements.cloud, Druva, Qlik, and others.
  • Strong understanding of ETL integrations with connected databases and hands-on experience in performing complex data loads.
  • Strong understanding of Release Management.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM framework.
  • Strong knowledge on Automated Testing Framework.
