Anthony Cinquini, MA ’19, BS ‘04
Anthony Cinquini of Glendale, Arizona, earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Excelsior University in 2004 and completed a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies in 2019. He is a past co-president of the Graduate Student Association, was the graduate speaker at the 2019 Excelsior University Commencement and was awarded the Joshua L. Smith Award from Excelsior University in 2020.
Cinquini is currently a franchise owner with Dream Vacations. Drawing on the knowledge and experience gained at Excelsior University, he became one of only five nationwide winners out of 569 applicants in the Operation Vetrepreneur contest, earning a Dream Vacations travel agency franchise. He also manages rental properties and brings professional experience from both the public and private sectors, including roles as a special education teacher, an IT account manager, and an employee of the U.S. Bureau of the Census.
An Air Force and Army combat veteran, Cinquini served as a Korean Language Analyst at the National Security Agency and later deployed to the Middle East as an Army Battalion Chemical Officer in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his time in service, he was awarded two Army Commendation Medals, a Joint Service Achievement Medal, and an Army Achievement Medal.
Cinquini is deeply committed to Excelsior University’s mission of lifelong learning and educational accessibility, and he strongly supports the philosophy that “what you know is more important than where or how you learned it.” He is dedicated to empowering alumni to reach their full potential, reflecting the University’s motto, “ever upward.” He remains active in his community, volunteering with organizations such as the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Knights of Columbus, the Arizona American Italian Club, Legacy Traditional School–Glendale, and St. Helen’s Parish. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, exercising, reading, and spending time with his wife, Peache, and their four children, Francesca, Anthony Jr., John, and Gerard.
