Marisol Nava, Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts, 2023

Marisol Nava of Mount Arlington, New Jersey, earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts in 2023. She shares, “Yesterday, I saw my photo featured in a post from Excelsior University, and it brought back so many memories. I felt nostalgic, but most of all, grateful for the extraordinary experience I had there.

When I first started gathering information about Excelsior, I was welcomed with such kindness and professionalism. A friend told me, ‘That will probably be how it is in the beginning. Once you enroll, things will change.’ She meant for the worse—but she was wrong. Everything changed for the better.

Excelsior gave me an excellent education, but what I appreciated most was the organization, support, and dedication of the professors. Everything was so well structured that I never felt lost, even when the journey was challenging.

Earning my bachelor’s degree from Excelsior was much more than earning a degree. It opened doors professionally and gave me the confidence to continue pursuing my education and growing in my career.

Most importantly, it showed me that I could succeed in a country different from my own and become an example for my daughters, my family, and others around me.

Today, I can say with confidence: Now, nobody can stop me.

I will always be grateful to Excelsior University for being such an important part of my journey. I recommend it wholeheartedly, especially to Spanish-speaking students. And with the Adelante program, even more opportunities are now available to our community.

Don’t miss the opportunity to invest in yourself. Your next chapter may be closer than you think.

Thank you, Excelsior, for helping me open doors I once only dreamed of.”
