He shares, “I was appointed a Global Peace Ambassador by the Global Peace Foundation during the International Forum on One Korea held in Seoul, South Korea, on octubre 6, 2026. This honorary appointment recognizes my previous diplomatic service as former honorary consul of Jamaica and Burkina Faso, as well as my ongoing efforts to promote international cooperation, dialogue, and peacebuilding.
As a Global Peace Ambassador, I serve as an international messenger for peace, working to advance stability, mutual understanding, and constructive relationships among nations. My work aligns closely with my longstanding interests as a Singaporean economist and public policy advocate, particularly in the areas of structural reform, anti-corruption, regional harmony, and sustainable development.
Throughout 2026, I have had the opportunity to speak at conferences and forums in Kazakhstan, Nepal, Brazil, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Egypt, and Hong Kong. In the coming months, I am scheduled to continue these efforts with speaking engagements in Lebanon and the Philippines. These activities have provided opportunities to facilitate dialogue and exchange perspectives on global challenges and international cooperation.
The Global Peace Foundation operates in more than 40 countries and is guided by its vision of “One Family under God.” Through international forums, leadership development programs, youth initiatives, and community-based projects, the organization works to foster interfaith cooperation, strengthen families, encourage service, support human rights, and advance peaceful solutions to regional and global issues.
As part of a global network of Global Peace Ambassadors, participation includes supporting initiatives designed to promote peace, understanding, and collaboration across communities, cultures, and nations. The appointment reflects recognition of ongoing contributions to international dialogue, diplomacy, and peacebuilding efforts.”
