Ivan Gappy

Ivan Gappy is a faculty member at Excelsior University’s School of Technology, where he teaches in the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program. He brings industry experience in software engineering and product management from roles at DTE Energy, Ford, and Amazon. At Excelsior, he contributes to curriculum development, serves on the Academic Integrity Committee, and supports the growth of the BS in Computer Science program as a subject matter expert. Gappy also launched a community of practice to strengthen faculty collaboration. His teaching emphasizes real-world application, ethical decision-making, and equipping students for success in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.
