Our leadership at Excelsior University, including our president, provost and chief academic officer, and board of trustees, work to ensure Excelsior operates efficiently, responsibly, and with a focus on what matters most: always putting students first.

President

David Schejbal is president of Excelsior University. When he was appointed by the board of trustees in August 2020, he became Excelsior’s fourth president since the institution’s founding in 1971. Under his leadership, Excelsior focuses on providing a student-centric experience while growing programmatic and experiential opportunities.

The Excelsior University board of trustees is the governing body for Excelsior. The board comprises individuals from across the United States who are leaders in the fields of business, education, and government

Academic Leadership

Academic leaders ensure Excelsior offers high-quality degree programs that meet the needs of adult learners. Members include:
