Veterans Tuition and Fees
Excelsior University offers a reduced fee structure for veterans to help make education more affordable. We also have veteran-friendly policies and advising services that make it easy to apply GI Bill® and other educational benefits toward your Excelsior degree.
The costs on this page apply to military veterans and DoD civilian employees.

Graduation Rate
While most of our Excelsior students are not full-time, the share of full-time students who graduate within 8 years of entering Excelsior for the first time is 35%.

Students at Excelsior typically borrow $13,000 in Federal student loans for their undergraduate study. The Federal loan payment over 10 years for this amount is approximately $130 per month. Your borrowing may be different.

Excelsior’s Tuition Deferral Plan is available for students receiving benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
