Jason Copeland

Jason Copeland, from Honolulu, HI, serves as command sergeant major at IMCOM-Pacific, based in Honolulu. He earned a bachelor’s in criminal justice from Excelsior in 2013 and continued his education, achieving a Master of Organizational Leadership from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2014. In 2019, he obtained a Certificate in Executive and High Performance Leadership from Cornell University. His academic career is reflected in his professional experience, having served in many leadership roles with the U.S. Army. He has also obtained several certifications in various areas of emergency management, risk management, and cybersecurity infrastructure protection from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). His community involvement includes volunteering as an advisor to the Stafford County School Board Advisor-Career and Technical Education. He is also a member of several organizations, including the International City Managers Association, The National Society of Leadership and Success, and the National Criminal Justice Honor Society.
