Jonathan Green

Jonathan Green is the nursing director for critical care at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York, with responsibility for a 16-bed critical care unit, a 45,000 annual visit emergency department, inpatient and outpatient dialysis services, and an outpatient wound care and hyperbaric oxygen center. Green has prior experience as an emergency department nurse practitioner, as an emergency and critical care flight nurse, and as a critical care nurse leader and educator. Prior to embarking on a career in nursing, Green was a paramedic and regional manager for a large commercial ambulance service in upstate New York and served in the U.S. Army Reserve as a medical operations officer with the 804th Medical Brigade at Fort Devens, Massachusetts, and completed a tour of duty as the medical intelligence officer with Task Force Med in Baghdad, Iraq. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Emergency Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. He has been a member of the Alumni Leadership Council since 2017. Green earned a BS in Nursing, Excelsior College; BS in Biomedical Engineering, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; MS in Nursing, Dominican College. He is pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice at Dominican College in Blauvelt, New York.
