Dr. Sandra Sheard

Dr. Sandra L. Sheard is a distinguished educator and strategic leader with more than 40 years of experience spanning academia, federal government, and corporate sectors. Specializing in leadership, organizational development, and management, she brings a unique, real-world perspective as a practitioner-scholar. Sheard serves as a professor in Excelsior University’s School of Business, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, where she teaches graduate-level leadership and management courses and mentors future changemakers. A proud U.S. Air Force veteran, Sheard holds a Doctor of Management in organizational leadership, a master’s degree in organizational development and management, and multiple professional certifications, including in project management, instructional systems design, professional coaching, and human resources. She also plays a vital role in Excelsior’s Executive MBA program and leads the IACBE Live Case Competition, fostering global student engagement and experiential learning.
