International Day of Persons with Disabilities Discussion with Jorge Font Ramírez

Join Excelsior University, the Center for Social Justice, and the Different Abilities, Race & Ethnicity, and Spanish as a First Language Rope Teams for an inspiring celebration of this year’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Jorge will share his personal journey into the world of disability and explore why inclusion must move beyond luck to equity. His keynote will focus on four essential dimensions:

  • Heart – Sensitivity to connect with others’ realities
  • Reason – Understanding the deeper meaning of inclusion
  • Imagination – Envisioning a world where everyone belongs
  • Action – Turning ideas into reality

More about Jorge Font Ramírez
Jorge Font Ramírez serves as director of institutional philosophy at Fundación Teletón and as an associate member of the board of trustees of the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, Cuernavaca México Campus. He has been a consultant and speaker for more than 30 years. He has also been an impressive athlete with a disability, winning multiple world championships and holding several world records as a water skier. Jorge is the author of the book Ensanchar la Vida (Broadening Life). He holds a degree in business administration from Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey and a master’s degree in human development from Universidad Iberoamericana, both in México.
