Description

Marketing is one of the core courses required for MBA students. The purpose of the course is to give students a practical understanding of marketing, both at the strategic and tactical levels. The concepts covered are central to the strategic management of any organization. The course focuses on ensuring that the planning process is made within the context of customers, competition, organizational priorities, and the external environment. Students will develop an awareness of the contemporary ethical, legal, and social issues that affect organizations. An understanding of the increasingly technological and data-driven arena in which marketing operates is also vital to the modern marketing manager.
