Description

This course studies the total rewards provided to employees in return for their contributions to an organization. The principles of modern compensation and benefits are considered from legal, practical, and theoretical perspectives. Students will examine how compensation and benefits can add strategic value by aligning total compensation with organizational goals. Students will investigate: The linkage between the design and administration of compensation and benefits, and effective talent management programs, strategic and tactical aspects of compensation and benefits administration, challenges facing organizations operating on a global scale, and current issues with compensation and benefits.
