Description

Teams accomplish what individuals alone cannot. Teams are vital to the world of work and managing teams well is a competitive advantage. In IND522, students will engage in management and leadership theories as a foundation for understanding the ways individuals evolve into high-performing teams. The course identifies sources of team conflict and provides an examination into various methods of resolution. Students will reflect on personal team and leadership experiences and analyze various approaches using theories presented in class. Students will recognize team leadership techniques and practices and perform a critical analysis of a team to link observations and experiences to academic theories.
