MIL498 Military Studies Capstone
Description
A senior-level course designed for advanced students and working professionals who are seeking to tie it all together. The course applies military science to the many challenges of serving in the armed forces. Students will engage and enhance critical thinking skills along with oral and written communication skills while reviewing and analyzing ethical questions and the concepts of diversity. Through a mixture of discussions, presentations and written analysis, students will review the major theories, strategies, and military operations applied to real-world military problems and gain experience with different modes of communication.
Prerequisites
The Capstone must be the last course taken. All major core and university requirement courses must be complete. The capstone can be paired with 1 other course that is considered to be general education course (excluding courses to meet the Written English Requirement and the Ethics Requirement), a concentration course, elective, or lab course (even if the lab is in the major).
Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC)
To be designated as a Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) course, all instructional materials will be provided at no cost to students. These may include Open Educational Resources (OER), free materials, or library resources. Check your syllabus for more information.
