Description

Cross-cultural health education skills are important in public health. This course equips students with essential career competencies, including assessing educational requirements, planning, delivering, and evaluating culturally sensitive health education for diverse populations. By applying learning theories and utilizing motivational interviewing techniques, students gain the tools to address potential barriers faced by clients. A key emphasis is on debunking common misconceptions related to health and nutrition, especially those perpetuated by media and social platforms.
