How do we lift every voice? Let’s explore together the meaning of democracy and ways to engage with others when we have different ways of thinking. Join us for a conversation hosted by Excelsior’s Center for Social Justice in partnership with the Democratic Engagement Rope Team, Fielding Graduate University, the Underground Railroad Education Center, the YWCA of the Greater Capital Region, the St. Petersburg Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation Center, and the New York State Division of Human Rights Hate and Bias Prevention Unit.  

During this session, we will concentrate on how we can engage with each other despite our different journeys, our contrasting perspectives, and the polarizing sociopolitical changes we are experiencing. Could our shared experience with change be our opportunity to connect?
