UExcel Exam Content Guides
UExcel content guides outline what you need to learn for each exam and include lists of recommended textbooks, links to online learning resources, and sample exam questions. These resources are recommended by the same Excelsior College faculty who develop the exams. Content guides are updated periodically to reflect changes in particular exams and textbooks, so be sure you have the most recent guide before taking your exam. Browse content guides.

Practice Exams
UExcel practice exams let you take a timed test on your personal computer of the same length, format, and difficulty of the actual exam you'll take on site at a PeasonVUE test center. Practice exam info is included on each exam page. To sign up for practice exams you must be registered for your official exam.
Online Tutoring
Work with a tutor in real-time or submit questions or essays for a next day response with Smarthinking, a free online tutoring service. Enrolled students can access Smarthinking from their Resources page in MyExcelsior. Learn more.
Open Educational Resources
Open educational resources (OER) are free or low-cost online materials you can use to learn about many topics in various formats for different learning styles. Learn more.
