Brian Allen

Brian Allen, DBA, serves as dean of the School of Business at Excelsior University, where he leads the development of innovative practitioner-focused programs designed to prepare the next generation of business leaders. With more than 30 years of leadership experience spanning education, international operations, and project management, Allen brings a uniquely global and applied perspective to business education. His professional background includes leadership roles across a wide range of industries, including information technology, e-commerce, telecommunications, medical logistics, international sales, and operations management. Over the course of his career, he has led projects and operations across 48 U.S. states and in 38 countries throughout the Americas, Western Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia, giving him deep expertise in global business strategy and cross-cultural leadership.

Allen holds a Doctor of Business Administration in technology entrepreneurship, an MBA, and a Master of Project Management. His research and teaching interests focus on entrepreneurship, leadership, project management, strategic planning, international business, business information technology leadership, and applied research that addresses real-world organizational challenges. As a dedicated educator, author, and public speaker, Allen is committed to bridging academic theory with practical application.
