Bard College Accepts Resignation of Longtime Leader Leon Botstein over Epstein
Joseph Storch, Excelsior University general counsel, was featured on WTEN as part of a story on the resignation of Bard College President Leon Botstein following calls from federal lawmakers for a criminal investigation into his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. In the wake of the Botstein and Cornell University cases, advocates hosted a virtual press conference to call on New York state lawmakers to reform campus sexual assault reporting and safety laws. Storch, a Title IX expert who helped write New York’s Enough is Enough law, advocates for increased funding for campus Title IX and rape crisis programs.
